Elliot Halloran

Elliot knows that
a relationship with Luke is impossible; that he would never love her if he knew
the details of her past. But as she struggles with whether to open herself to
love or keep her true self locked away, Elliot learns that she’s not the only
one with dark secrets.
Elle is a girl
who running from her past, running from a choice she made that ruined her
family. Elle is trying to start over and live her life but no matter where she
goes and what she does, it’s hard to out run her memories. Elle is struggling
with herself about the choice she made, not really sure if she can forgive
herself. Now she’s starting her life over, teaching at a fancy private school,
where she meets the oh so amazing Luke, a fellow teacher.
Both are great
characters and have amazing chemistry, they’re relatable and you easily find
yourself rooting for them. This was a nice read. Easy, fun, cute, and quick. It
was well written and wasn’t too much. Though I really found myself wanting to know more about
really what went down with Elle’s family, more about the scandal, I should say.
Aside from that I really enjoyed it and would recommend it to anyone. So go out
and get this book.
