Hi! Everyone! How are you guys? What have you been up to?

What did I do this week? Well I’m so glad you asked. Lol. I attended BEA for the first time ever. If you are unsure what that is according to their website, BEA “the leading North American publishing event that brings you what’s new and what’s next in book publishing.”

Wow! It was amazing and honestly a little overwhelming. The first day the only thing in my head was “wow, this is so cool. What do I want to do now?” What I did was stand on line to meet amazing authors and get some books signed. I walked around taking everything in, and I met so many wonderful people. While I was doing that I forgot to take pictures, I got a few but my phone was being a boob, so sorry. What I really loved about BEA was that it was in my city so I didn’t have to worry about traveling too much. I was a fabulous time, if you can go next you totally should. Though one downside was the pain, my arms, shoulders, feet and legs hate me and I understand why but it was totally worth it.

Day 3. The first thing I did when I got there was went the signing of Shine by Jeri Smith-Ready, and here is she.

I honestly can’t remember what line this was for but this was how it looked from where I was standing.

This was the end of BEA. I was sitting on a bench with my suitcase and homemade PB&J sandwich waiting to be picked up. I took this lonely empty sad looking picture to express how felt having to go home.
