She's been broken by her past. He's been breaking for as long as he can remember.
Together, they can make each other whole--or destroy each other.
When his best friend asks for something, Dane rarely says no. But babysitting a newly sober Scout Grimes for three weeks isn't exactly a normal request. And with their history, it's a recipe for disaster. Not to mention, she's drop dead gorgeous and he can't touch her.
There are few people Scout trusts as much as Dane Guillot. He's always been her safe place, where nothing can hurt her. He's also been the only man she's never let herself want--screwing up their friendship isn't worth one amazing night together.
They have too much history, and too much personal baggage to ever work. But if they are willing to take a chance on love--it might be worth the risk.

Where to start?
The first book in the series is where we meet our main characters Dane and Scout and to be honest I didn’t care for them all that much but starting this book my feelings changed. At least they did for Dane, for some reason I didn’t find myself warming up to Scout until somewhere after the middle. My biggest problem with Scout was how nasty to people she was, well really how nasty she was to Avery yet she needed Avery’s help. Though I do understand why she was the way that she was and her reasons were valid ones.
As characters both Dane and Scout has massive flaws yet what I loved about them was that how strong they were. It may not have seemed like it but honestly you have to be really tough to go through the things that they did and still be able to go on. Dane Dane Dane. I got over my dislike for him early on in the book and I found myself really liking him. While there were times when he was an asshole there was never a time when he wasn’t loyal to those he loved.
These two had a connection so strong it defied logic, it made sense only to them and really that was the only thing that was important. They fit together in a way that was perfect. Their chemistry and struggles made for a deep and powerful story. It was moving, well written and holds you until the end, leaving you breathless. This is one story that will stay with you for a very long time. I’m telling you right now if this book doesn’t touch you in some way, you’re dead inside. So do yourself a favor and get this book or really any book by Nazarea Andrews.
