She’s his boss. He doesn’t care. This office isn’t big enough for the two of them…
When Rory Clarke ends up hiring the guy she spent one steamy night with to be her administrative assistant, she's determined to keep things professional.
Lucas Blaine has other plans for her. He wants Rory, and it’s hard to resist his stunning blue eyes, chin dimple and the way he fills out a suit. Everywhere she looks, there he is, giving her a panty-melting smile and pulling her away for the most amazing (and satisfying) sex she’s ever had in her life.
What starts off as one sexual encounter turns into multiple trysts in and out of the office and the lines she’d tried to draw so carefully are blurring. But the closer they get, the more Rory realizes that there are things about Lucas she doesn’t know, things he’s hiding from her. She’ll have to decide if she can surrender to her feelings or get out while she still can.

{Disclaimer: I received a free ecopy of this book from the author in exchange for an honest review. All opinions presented here are my own}

Where to start with this one?
Rory is a strong woman who is the vice president of her father’s company and works hard to prove that she earned the job and not just because its daddy’s company. Rory needs an assistant and there is something about Lucas Blaine that makes her not want to hire him so she doesn’t. But Lucas isn’t the type of man to back down from something he wants, and he wants both Rory and the job. Finally he gets both and that’s when things get confusing and complicated.
Lucas Blaine is sexy dipped in sin and wrapped in a mystery. We can tell that he is hiding something and we know it’s going to be big but we have no idea what and neither does Rory. Can the two of them make this work or is this relationship doomed before it even really has the chance to start?
I found myself really enjoying this book it was funny, sexy, cute, sweet, sexy, and it had a wide range of emotions which I liked. It was quick fun read, I really liked that it wasn’t too much. Chelsea Cameron had a strong plot and well written story that flowed smoothly. She knew when it was over, nothing gets on my nerves more than a book that should have ended eight chapters ago.
I enjoyed the progression of the characters and the way they reacted to one another. It felt real. They were relatable and they drew you in, not letting go until the end. What I really enjoyed was that the big secret Lucas was keeping turned out to be totally different from what I thought. It was refreshing to read something different. Now while I didn’t love the book there was nothing that I didn’t like about it. If that makes sense.
I fell for Chelsea when I read My Favorite Mistake and this book proves that our writing/reading relationship was meant to be. So please do yourself a favor and read Sweet Surrendering, you won’t want to miss this one.
