I must say that I find television very educational. The minute somebody turns it on, I go to the library and read a book. --Groucho Marx

Tune In/Teaser Tuesday (134)

Tune In Tuesday is a weekly feature in which bloggers get to showcase another one of their loves, music! The feature is hosted by Ginger over at GReads! But until further notice you can find it over at Kate’s Tales of Books and Bands. If you would like to participate in this weekly feature, make a blog post showcasing a song (or a few) head on over to Kate’s blog and link up at the bottom of the post!

This week since there are now two of us working on this blog  we have a double dose for you.

“I think this is a great song and I really enjoyed the video. Honestly what’s not to love? ” --Shanese

“A fellow Houstonian” --Betsy

Teaser Tuesday is a weekly bookish meme hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading.

Anyone can play along by doing the following. Grab your current read open to a random page and share two “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page.

Please no spoilers (make sure what you shared doesn’t give away too much! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!) Share the title & author, so that other TT participants can add to their TBR list of they like your teaser!

Todays teasers are from the books Until You book 1.5 in the Fall Away series by Penelope Douglas and Obsidian book 1 in the Lux series by Jennifer L. Armentrout

They got rid of the Heartland Scramble at Denny’s. Fine. Fuck. Whatever

--Until You 16% on kindle -Shanese’s pick.

"I don’t think he meant to kiss me,” I said finally.
“What? Did he sip and fall on your mouth? Those things are known to happen.”

My Teaser is from CHRISTMAS CALLING.

  4. I love BOTH of your music picks this week ladies! Some pretty awesome songs :)

  5. I love Sara Bareilles' Brave! It's such a great song. And Danielle Bradbery is so talented! Totally agree with everyone about the Obsidian teaser. I totally have a visual image of a guy slipping and falling onto a girl's mouth right now! LOL!
