I must say that I find television very educational. The minute somebody turns it on, I go to the library and read a book. --Groucho Marx

Tune In/Teaser Tuesday (143)

Tune In Tuesday is a weekly feature in which bloggers get to showcase another one of their loves, music! The feature is hosted by Ginger over at GReads! But until further notice you can find it over at Kate’s Tales of Books and Bands. If you would like to participate in this weekly feature, make a blog post showcasing a song (or a few) head on over to Kate’s blog and link up at the bottom of the post!

“It’s been 5 months since my best friend passed away and it hurts. This song just speaks my heart right now.” --Shanese

“Love this” --Betsy

Teaser Tuesday is a weekly bookish meme hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading.

Anyone can play along by doing the following. Grab your current read open to a random page and share two “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page.

Please no spoilers (make sure what you shared doesn’t give away too much! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!) Share the title & author, so that other TT participants can add to their TBR list of they like your teaser!

Today’s teasers are from the books Worth the Chance book 2 in the MMA Fighter series by Vi Keeland and Tangled book 1 in the Tangled series by Emma Chase

I picked it up and looked at the picture of some girl I don't know smiling at me from the caller ID. She looks fucking annoying.
Worth the Chance. 5% on kindle -Shanese’s pick.

“For God's sake, don't let her watch Cinderella. What kind of example is that? A mindless twit who can't even remember where she left her damn shoe, so she has to wait for some douchebag in tights to bring it to her? Give me a frigging break!”
Tangled. -Betsy’s pick.

  1. I'm sorry for your loss but music and books are the best way to cope with most things! Tangled looks pretty good, but I might be prejudiced because the title reminds me of the Disney movie which I loved! I'm a new follower! Thanks for sharing :)

  2. I am so sorry for your loss. I adore Luke Bryan. I sobbed the first time I heard Drink a Beer, and it's hard for me to listen to it now without thinking of one of my coworkers who passed away in November. Music is so healing for me, though, and I hope it is for you, too.
