Colt McAlister is a sixteen year
old boy from San Diego, he likes to surf and read Comics, he’s also the
youngest of seven siblings all boys, and the last to still live at home. Colt’s
life is turned upside down when his parents are killer by a drunk driver,
causing him to pack up his life and move to Arizona
with his retired marine grandfather. One day Colt gets a mysterious text from a
stranger who claims that Colt’s parents death was no accident and from there
Colt is thrust into a world he believed only in comics and movies.
Colt along with his childhood friend
Dani, and his new buddy Oz, find out that the C.H.A.O.S. comic book got a lot
of things right and it’s up to them to stop evil business owning aliens from
destroying our world and everything into.
While Aliens and outer space really
isn’t the type of things I read about I found myself really enjoying the book
and having a hard time pointing it down. The characters were believable and
easy to relate to. They storyline flowed smoothly and didn’t become dull at any
point. This book had everything you could want in a science fiction story,
drama, aliens, flying motorcycles, jet packs, shape shifting monsters, and
wicked fights.
I received this book free from the publisher through the
BookSneeze.com book review bloggers program. I was not required to write a
positive review. The opinions I have expressed are my own.
