TGIF is a fun little feature hosted at Ginger @ GReads! Every week we re-cap what has happened on the blog plus Ginger asks a question for us to answer. This week’s question is: Bookshelf Tour: Where do you keep your books at home? Are they organized?


I love this question for no other reason than I love showing off my bookcases and talking about books. Okay I don’t leave alone so I can’t put up bookcases wherever I want which sucks by the way. 
                                              I have four bookcases in my hallway. 

They are organized, since don’t have that many books that aren’t paranormal, all my regular fiction books share a bookcase. I have them organized by author, they aren’t in alphabetical order or anything.

The other three bookcases are paranormal, one is young adult paranormal fiction. Those are arranged by author as well.

In my room I have two more bookcases; those are a mix of all of my favorites books. It was hard picking which books I wanted in the room with me. Those are a mix of everything, adult paranormal romance, erotica, young adult, science fiction, urban fantasy, etc. Put together by author. 









Also in my room I have a few shelves on my walls. There aren't a lot of book up there. I have my Harry Potter books on the shelf right above my head (I love him). The other books are ones that people in my house wanted to keep but had no where to put them.

Then on the side of my desk I have the books I have to write reviews for. If I put them away I‘ll forget they have to been reviewed and read them whenever I feel like it. Once I’ve read and reviewed them I put on the shelves they belong to.

    Geez! You have a ton of bookcases and they look so organized! Great looking bookcases.

    And it does TOTALLY suck when you have to consult your loved ones where bookcases can go. Especially if they don't read.
