Hunted by an unknown but powerful enemy, Lil, Bran and the Guardians must seek help from unlikely sources to avert total annihilation of the Guardians. When they finally face their enemy, one of them may have to make the ultimate sacrifice.
After the events of Betrayed the gang Lil, Bran *swoon* Remy, Skyes, Kim, & Izzy
should be taking it easy, getting humans their souls back but when the hell has
anything ever been easy for them? Never. But things aren’t just bad, it’s worst
than we’ve ever seen it and it doesn’t seem to getting better. I want to tell
you everything but I don’t want to give it away. So much happened, it time
something huge happened I said it cannot get bigger than this. And Ednah
Walters just said ha just wait. The story grabbed hold of you in the very
beginning and don’t let go. It takes you on a wild ride that will leave you
breathless. And that ending will have you cursing something. It was just that
good.
The story was
beautiful written, the whole thing flowed together amazingly. There was never a
moment was I was bored, everything happened at a paced that it should have.
Nothing moved so slow that I thought ‘ugh hurry already’ and there nothing move
too fast that it felt rushed. And the characters they grew in small ways that
made them better and they all were kick ass. What I really loved besides Bran, because
yeah that boy is amazing, was Lil that girl got so bad ass that I got chills. There
were old characters, new ones, one you wanted to slap, and some you wanted to give
giant hugs.
All in all it was
a great book and you don’t want to miss this one. The only bad thing was it
ended and I don’t have the next. I can’t wait to see what the future has in
store for Lil, Bran, and the rest of the gang.
