Charismatic
bar owner Rowdy Yates isn't the kind of man women say no to. So when he
approaches waitress Avery Mullins, he fully expects to get her number. However,
the elusive beauty has her reasons for keeping her distance-including a past
that might come back to haunt them both.
Avery
spends her nights working for tips...and trying to forget the secret Rowdy is
determined to unearth. But when history threatens to repeat itself, Avery grows
to rely on Rowdy's protective presence. As the sparks between them ignite, she
will be forced to choose between the security she's finally found...and the
passion she's always wanted.
Wow
just wow. This book was really good. I honestly want to tell you everything but
you know I won’t because I’m not going to give anything away. I have two words
for you Rowdy Yates. That’s it. That all I have to say, that man made me swoon.
He was sweet, caring, protective, funny, smart, charismatic, and the ultimate badass alpha
male, with just the right amount of danger and mystery. He was everything you want
in a bad boy. What really made me love him was the way and all the things he did to
protect his sister.
Avery
Mullins. I will admit that the two of us got off to bad start, the very first
scene between her and Rowdy made me dislike her. Rowdy made no secret about
wanting her and she keeps telling him no, yet when she sees him with another
woman she gets upset as if she has any right to be. Then at the same time that
scene is what made her really change her mind. After that it was really easy to
like Avery. Honestly she was an amazing character with a secret that was coming
back to haunt her.
The
two of them together has so much chemistry and they made for a good story.
While
reading I didn’t realize that this was book three in a series but you can read
it and not be confused. I found myself really enjoying this book it was dark,
light, sexy, funny, with a storyline that flowed and was well written. Ms. Foster has an amazing talent, boy can she
string words together and make you feel things. Getting Rowdy is one you don’t
want to miss, so do yourself a favor and get this book. Like yesterday.
