TGIF is a fun little feature hosted at Ginger @ GReads! Every week we re-cap what has happened on the blog plus Ginger asks a question for us to answer. This week’s question is: Character Envy: If you could be one character from a book, who would you choose & why?

Man this one is so hard I’ve been trying to think of an answer for a while and I didn't really have an answer until the last minute. When I was trying to pick someone Kate Daniels was always in my head, it seemed my thoughts always kept going back to her, so I guess this is who I’ll pick. Kate Daniels from the series by Ilona Andrews.

Now on to the why.

the ruler of
Kate is kick ass. She never backs down, even when she really should and she never lets fear stop her. Kate is a strong woman who stands up for what she believe and isn’t afraid to say how she feels. Kate takes a stand and fights for people who can’t fight for themselves. Kate will do anything for the people she really cares about. And more important she didn’t need anyone else to have her back for years Kate was on her own but slowly she’s built a family that she can really trust and she’s learning to work with others. And she's mated to Curran, the Beast Lord of Atlanta,
the South-East Pack of shapeshifters.

  5. I read the first book in the Kate Daniels series but couldn't really get into it. I've heard a few people say that they were the same and love the series after continuing with it so, maybe, I'll have to give it another shot. I did like Curran though ;-)
