I must say that I find television very educational. The minute somebody turns it on, I go to the library and read a book. --Groucho Marx

Teaser Tuesday is a weekly bookish meme hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along by doing the following. Grab your current read open to a random page and share two “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page. Please no spoilers (make sure what you shared doesn’t give away too much! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!) Share the title & author, so that other TT participants can add to their TBR list of they like your teaser!

My teasers are from the same book. Born of Silence book five in The League series by Sherrilyn Kenyon

Maris sobered and narrowed his eyes on him. “For the record, you better not die on me, you worthless beast. I will not forgive for it.
Pg 53

And Kyr was furious over the attack. “Do you know who I am?”
Nykyrian snorted derisively. “We know. We just don’t give a shit.”
Pg 806

“And neither do you, ciratile. You ever try this shit again with me and mine, and I will rape and plunder the village, and burn the motherfucker to the ground…” He looked around at the bodies on the floor. “And as you’ve seen here today, there ain’t nothing you bitches can do to stop me. Talk is cheap. Pain is free. And I’m peddling the shit out of it. So you come on and get some.”
 Pg 808

  3. LOVE Me and You by Cassie, All Around Me, Stickwitu, well basically all of your songs haha. We have similar music taste :) I listened to those songs when I was a teenager! (Still 18 haha so I guess I'm technically still a teen). I didn't pick any of those for my Tune In Tuesday though so this was great to be able to listen to some other songs I enjoy!

  6. OMG, all your songs take me back man! Those were all during the time I was working retail and it would loop over and over in store as I was working...makes me cringe to remember, but all of them I know word for word haha. I remembered that Cascada song too, that was played everywhere. Stickwitu makes me think of a specific memory in college, some guy dedicated it to a girl he was trying to get with and...it didn't go well haha.
