do, and while I love all of these new adult books it was great to read about a
woman who is actually a woman. When we first meet Melissa she is on a spa trip
with her best friend enjoying girl time and from what we can tell she’s
readying herself for something that’s about to happen when she gets back home.
Then in the middle of girl time she meets the amazingly sexy Derek and the two
have this mind blowing week long affair. But like all good things it must come
to an end, everyone must pack their bags and head back to the real world and
the life they left.
Now for me this is where the story gets really good. We finally
realize what Melissa was escaping and what she plans to do about everything
that’s going on at home. With really only the support and help of her best
friend, Melissa packs up her life and tries to make a new start. But nothing is
every as easy as it seems, and the things we want to hide in the dark have a
way of coming to light. Derek is thrust back into Melissa’s life in a way she
would have never imagined but with
everything going on can Melissa really trust her fragile heart to someone she
barley even knows?
One To Hold was great
story, the storyline flowed and was really well written. This story really
spoke to me and made me feel a mixture of things. I liked the way the
characters progressed and they really grew into themselves. Ms. Louise really
captivates the readers and makes you want to know more. I loved the way it
changed from something fun and flirty to something with passion, courage and
meaning. My only issues with this book is that I thought it could have been a
little longer.
I personally can’t wait to check out what Tia Louise has coming out
next. So do yourself a favor and read One
To Hold if you haven’t already. You don’t want to miss this one.
