Review: Green-Eyed Demon
Jaye Wells
Sabina Kane Book Three
Urban Fantasy
Publisher: Orbit
ISBN-13: 978-0-31603-777-8
This book picks up where the last one left off, Sabina along
with her team, Giguhl; her demonic minion, and her almost Mage lover,
Adam, are trying to get back her twin sister Massie, who was kidnapped by
their evil vampire grandmother. This book is packed with lots of action, danger
and many OMG moments.
In this book we see huge growth in Sabina's character. So
far we’ve seen Sabina as cold and uncaring. But who could really blame her
after all she was an assassin and was trained not to feel anything. In
this latest book Sabina opens up to others and finally herself to care for
other people. Sabina and her team come up with a plan to get Massie back but
things hardly turn out the way they’re supposed to. When friends become foes
and enemies become allies, Sabina finds that she has no clue what’s she doing
and that she’s way over her head. There were several unexpected
twists and turns that has me wondering what will happen to Sabina and the gang
in the next book.
This book had me hooked from page one. It only took me a few
hours to finish. I recommend this series to anyone who loves great books with a
strong lead character, danger, fights, demons, and a little romance.

I just got the audiobook of book 1 and am loving it so far even though I haven't broke it in yet. I am a new follower. Love your bookcase. My eyes were instantly magnetized to the Black Dagger Brotherhood series on the third shelf. I know, weird, but what can I say, I am a fan LOL! Great review hon, thank you :). Really can't wait until I read the rest of them.
ReplyDeleteThanks. I really liked these books, I'm dying for the next one. After I did that picture, I got another bookcase. And I love BDB.
