TGIF is a fun little feature hosted by Ginger @ GReads! Every week we re-cap what has happened on the blog plus Ginger asks a question for us to answer. This week’ question is: Comfort Reads: Which books do you go back to fro comfort & familiarity? Is there a type of book you seek out when you’re needing that extra comfort in your life?

As always Ginger asked a very good question.

Now there isn’t really a type of book I go to when I need comfort. Anything with a good romance will do. But if I’m in a bad mood or feeling down I will reread a favorite book. There are a few books that I go back to. Though to be honest I try to reread the whole series or at least my favorites of the series until I feel better and that usually works.

All Books by Shelly Laurenston
Like I said I love this woman, and her books. I can’t get enough, they always make feel better. Reading them is like coming home.

Seriously how could you not love these books. And whenever I read this series it’s like I’m doing for the first time all over again.

Charley Davidson series by Darynda Jones
Charley is super funny and before I’m even halfway done. I’m laughing so hard that I’m crying.  I love these books. And two words. Reyes Farrow!

  1. I haven't read any of these books so I'll have to check them out. And my comfort reads - probably something with a little romance too.

  2. I have read some Shelly Laurenston and all of the Charley Davidson series. The latter I really love, though with my Daddy Issues I'm seldolmy cheered up, despite all of her Awesomeness. Boy, that woman really is funny! :'D

  5. I'm always happy when other people love Percy Jackson as much as I do! I feel the same way about it; it always feels fresh and really fun to me every time I read it!
