This week is: Cover Theme Freebie: It could be literally
anything
I had so many thoughts about which covers I wanted
to do and in the end, I decided to split the list. Some covers that I really
liked with fire on them and some with birds that stood out to me.
1. Scorched:
There
is nothing about this cover that I don’t love. It’s honestly one of my
favorites on any list. When I saw the theme for this week, I knew no matter
what I did, this cover was going to be on this list. Also a dragon, always a
win
2. Daimon:
This
cover is beautiful even though there isn’t too much happening. A rose on fire,
and honestly green fire, you can’t go wrong there.
3. Afterglow:
I love how simple this is cover is.
4. Fire Touched:
It
looks super badass. Whatever the hell that demon is behind her and the fact
that she is standing there looking like she’s about to kick major ass. This cover is
a win.
5. Frozen Tides:
Just
look at it.
6. Black Bird of the Gallows:
The
first time I saw this cover it made me stop and take notice. I love everything
about it.
7. Illusions of Fated:
Isn’t
it beautiful? There is nothing that I don’t like about this cover. It’s really
eye catching.
8. Invincible:
It looks like cool tattoo.
9. Clipped Wings:
This
one seems like a real piece of art to me. Yes, I know all book covers are art
but this one is a little different. The styling is different; it feels like
something you can have up on your wall.
10. Gilded:
I
just like it
Bonus. Burning Sky:
I
had to throw this one in, I mean both a bird and fire. Though
what did you expect from a phoenix?

I love the cover to Clipped Wings! I need to finish Gilded at some point, i love the whole Korean American aspect.

Illusions of Fate is gorgeous. I like that you took two ideas for this post. Off to look for covers with birds as I'm curious to see what's out there now.
