I must say that I find television very educational. The minute somebody turns it on, I go to the library and read a book. --Groucho Marx

Tune In/Teaser Tuesday (28)

Teaser Tuesday is a weekly bookish meme hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading.

Anyone can play along by doing the following. Grab your current read open to a random page and share two “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page.

Please no spoilers (make sure what you shared doesn’t give away too much! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!) Share the title & author, so that other TT participants can add to their TBR list of they like your teaser!

“Oliver” the man said, his voice causing ripples of sensation across my skin, “we at the I.S. think you’ve fucked this up far enough. If Rachel permanently eliminates the threat of this day-walking demon, no one will care if she’s the queen of the damned and eats live kittens for breakfast in front of kindergartners. You will leave her alone or you will find yourself disgraced.”

Pg 383 Pale Demon (The Hollows Book 9) by Kim Harrison

Tune in Tuesday is hosted by Ginger of GReads. It’s a way to bounce from blog t blog and discover what other are listening to. If you want to be a part of this head on over to her page and link up.

This week and a couple of weeks after a few of us will be doing Tune in Tuesdays Favorite Soundtracks Edition.  It can be from a movie, tv show, or musical.  It does not necessarily have to be the theme song for that particular program either.  As long as it was featured in the movie, tv show, or musical then it's fair game! I LOVE this and it so hard for me to only pick a few. This week is my favorite songs from classic Disney. Beauty and the Beast. A Whole New World from Aladdin. Reflection from Mulan. Colors of the Wind from Pocahontas. A Part of Your World from The Little Mermaid.  The Whole soundtrack from both The Lion King and Hercules
(Fun Fact. Beauty and the Beast and A Whole New World are sung by the same man. Peabo Beyson)

The Lion King
Circle of Life 2 (Elton John)

I Can Go the Distance (Michael Bolton)
