Midnight Fire Book #2
Kindle Format
Publisher: Self-Published
Release Date: April 3, 2012
Overall Rating: 4/5

"Slowly, like a whisper almost blown away in the wind, two words streaked across her mind: 'Kiss me.'"

Kira may have survived the eclipse, but her troubles are far from over. She's headed to Sonnyville with one goal in mind: to learn more about her parents. But with Luke and Tristan competing for her heart and Diana gunning for her head, time is running out on the search for her mother. And the closer Kira gets to answers, the more terrified she becomes. The conduits fear her, the vampires fear her, and Kira is starting to wonder if maybe they're right...

Picking up where Ignite left off, Simmer is fast paced and super good. It does not disappoint, it has everything you look for in a good book, so look no farther for your not great series. In this new book you can really see the invidiously and personal growth of the characters. Certain characters grow on you. The storyline flows easily and doesn’t let you down in anyway.

Kira is strong and yet like every other person in the world she is still uncertain about things and she still has doubts about herself and others. The way she struggles and how she has the courage to keep going is what makes her great to read about.

In the end Simmer was enjoyable and a really good read. We learned more the history of the world and I love the character building that took place. I personal can’t wait for the release of Blaze, and to see what the future has in store for these characters.
