Tune In/Teaser Tuesday (30)

by - October 25, 2011

Teaser Tuesday is a weekly bookish meme hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading.

Anyone can play along by doing the following. Grab your current read open to a random page and share two “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page. Please no spoilers (make sure what you shared doesn’t give away too much! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!) Share the title & author, so that other TT participants can add to their TBR list of they like your teaser!

“–And down there –do you see where I’m pointing?”
“Um” Percy said, “You don’t have any hands.”

Tune in Tuesday is hosted by Ginger of GReads. It’s a way to bounce from blog t blog and discover what other are listening to. If you want to be a part of this head on over to her page and link up.

This week and a couple of weeks after a few of us will be doing Tune in Tuesdays Favorite Soundtracks Edition.  It can be from a movie, tv show, or musical.  It does not necessarily have to be the theme song for that particular program either.  As long as it was featured in the movie, tv show, or musical then it's fair game! I LOVE this and it so hard for me to only pick a few. Since this is the last week I will be throwing anything into the mix, like always.

Love is On The Way. from the movie The First Wives Club. (Love this movie.) I have two versions of the song one sung by Billy Porter and the other boy Celien Dion.
Don't No Bad News. from the movie The Wiz.
Touch Me. two versions of the same song one by The Cast of Spring Awakening and the other by Lea Michele singing it alone. Both are really good. I love the way Lea Michele turned a song that was sung with a full cast into a solo.
I'd Rather Go Blind and All I Could Do Was Cry. Both sung by Beyonce from the movie Cadillac Records.
Where Are You Christmas. by Faith Hill from the movie How To The Grinch Stole Christmas.
Scotty Doesn't Know. from the movie EuroTrip. So funny, if you haven't seen it, see it.
Other Father's Song. from the movie Coraline
Three Small Words. from the movie Josie and the Pussycats. Loved the cartoon growing up and enjoyed the movie.
